For our Literacy Narrative writing assignment I wanted to get some advice on my paper as well as ways I could improve my assignment before I turned it in. I decided to use the online writing center because I never have time to physically come to school and use the writing center one on one with a tutor. I have a crazy world outside of just school. I have never used a writing tutor in my life but I thought I would give it a chance. I submitted my paper online on a Saturday and believe it or not got it back in 24 hours exactly! I was amazed at how fast I received my assignment back. It was so simple and easy to submit my assignment. All I had to do was explain what the assignment was as well as attach my assignment so my tutor could help me the best that she could. Shannon Tompkins revised my Literacy Narrative and she was truly amazing. She read and reviewed my entire paper and left me notes of how she thought I should fix my assignment. Just the little comments she left made such a huge improvement and I felt as if my assignment was brand new. I would recommend using Shannon for your online writing tutor. Getting advice and reviews from others then just yourself can help improve an assignment. You may think your assignment is perfect just as it is but I promise you if you ask for help from a peer it can be even stronger! I would recommend the online writing tutoring to everyone. I will defiantly be using the online writing center throughout my years at Northampton Community College, it was so beyond helpful.  |
