From elementary school to high school the education, learning content, and expectations have changed tremendously. I attended Asa Packer Elementary school and Liberty High School. Both schools are located in Bethlehem Pennsylvania. My parents have always supported me and pushed me to be the best I could be in school and without them school wouldn't be possible. My parents once said to me "nothing comes easy in life, but as long as you work hard and follow your dreams anything in life is possible." As I look back now on the great education and teachers I had growing up, I would not be where I am today in life without them. They have taught me many different things such as simple mathematics, how to read at may different levels, how to write my name, how to write in sentences, and how to write in cursive. One thing I always struggled with was writing in cursive but all the hard work I did outside of school helped me conquer writing in cursive. As I look back on school, i don't just think about the content I have learned but I remember all of the great friends I have made and relationships I have built with teachers over the years. I remember all of the fun things we did in elementary school to help us socialize with one another. From all the book fairs, field days (they were my favorite!), going shopping at the little gift shop for our family members during christmas, as well as all the amazing fundraisers we did. High school on the other hand was not all fun and games. High school focused on higher education and helping prepare you for the next level of education, college. Looking back on school today, I realize all the great friends I have made, all the big and little steps that have helped me throughout life, as well as all of the learning content I have learned that will help me through college and beyond. Education is a huge part of life and will follow you wherever you go in life.
